Farris School and community lost a treasure this week. Marie Harper went on to be with her Lord May 5, 2007. Words can not express what she has meant to this community, those shoes cannot be filled.
Our sympathy goes out to her family. Keep smiling and loving that is what she would want you to do.
We have created a group room at Walmart.com photo. This is where we can share the photos with family and friends. You can upload your photos of the children or activities as well. If you are a parent or guardian of one of our students and interested in being invited (it is an invitation only) to the site, email your name, the students name and the email address you wish to use to Mariann. Mrs. McGee has earned a standing ovation on her efforts writing the Farris Falcons Newsletter. This is an excellent example of what we can do when we pull together. If you have not received copies of this newsletter either at our local merchants or via mail please sign up. There is a sign up sheet at school, Centerpoint Store, Griffin Feed and Butlers Store.

Our Jump Rope for Heart was a grand success. We raised over a thousand dollars for this worthy cause. Our special Thanks to Mrs. Boren for her hard work on this project.
